EMF OVERVIEW
EMF stands for Electromagnetic Field. This term is used to describe the spectrum of fields generated by electric and magnetic energy, from ultraviolet to highly energetic gamma rays. Our world is covered in these fields, some made naturally by the earth and others by us. The frequency of an EMF signal equals how many times it oscillates every second calculated in Hertz (Hz). Exposure to non-ionising radiation from man made EMFs has been shown to cause oxidative stress in the body. It’s important for our health to limit our daily exposure to electromagnetic pollution, particularly in young children who have a greater absorption rate.
